Gleaners Food Bank

One of the things I Love about Eastern Market is the familiarity. I see so many of the same faces each week from vendors to shoppers to artisans. I like that feeling when you recognize people and exchange smiles or greetings. Gleaners Food Bank has a table every week at the Market in Shed 2. I see this kind face every Saturday. "For more than 33 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "nourishing communities by feeding hungry people.” Last year, Gleaners distributed more than 36 million pounds of emergency food to over 484 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties."

Nice shot Cathy! The antiqued look really works with the storyline and the light vignette really sets it off.

  Thanks alot Curt! I played around with several B&W vignettes in Silver Efex Pro2 and liked the antiqued look best. I’m happy that you like it too!
